Alex Greninger is the Larry Corey Endowed Associate Professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the University of Washington Medical Center, assistant director of the clinical virology labs, and director of the clinical trials and Retrovirology lab. Our team is interested in supporting the clinical virology lab to bring on new tests to inform clinical care and clinical trials and the overall study of infectious disease in humans. His basic science lab is interested in genomically informed approaches to the study of viral replication, mechanisms of antiviral resistance, and viral evolution.
