Sentinel Project on Pediatric Drug Resistant Tuberculosis

Anja Reuter holds a medical degree from the University of Cape Town medical school and has a Masters of Public Health from the University of Liverpool with a specialization in global health. Anja's intrerest and passion in fighting tuberculosis started in medical school and she subsequently worked in HIV/TB in Canada, South Africa and South Sudan. Most recently she worked as a medical doctor and medical activity manager on a drug resistant tuberculosis (DR-TB) project for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in Khayelitsha, South Africa. This project focused on patient support initiatives and access to novel drugs for persons with DR-TB, as well as on implementing models of family and child friendly DR-TB preventative and curative care in the community setting. Anja curretly does work for the Sentinel Project on Pediatric Drug Resistant Tuberculosis.
