Dayna McManus received her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University. She completed her post-graduate residency training in the areas of Pharmacy Practice and Infectious Diseases at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT.
Dayna currently serves as the Pharmacy Supervisor of Infectious Diseases at Yale-New Haven Health overseeing the system antimicrobial stewardship team. In addition, she serves as the PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency Director. She is board certified in Pharmacotherapy and Infectious Diseases.
Dayna’s professional areas of interest and research include antimicrobial stewardship and resistance in immunocompromised patients as well as quality improvement and patient safety. Dayna has over 50 publications and presentations related to infectious diseases including in the area of antimicrobial stewardship. Dayna is an active member in the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and the Society of Infectious Disease Pharmacists (SIDP) and is involved in a number of committees within these organizations as well as within her hospital system.
