Dr. Pinsky graduated medical school in 1996 from St. Georges University. He completed a residency in internal medicine in 1999 and a fellowship in infectious disease in 2001, both at Loyola University Medical Center, in Maywood, IL. He is board certified in internal medicine and infectious disease. Dr. Pinsky is medical director for infection control and prevention and medical director of antibiotic stewardship at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. Dr. Pinsky is a partner at Metro Infectious Disease Consultants in Burr Ridge, IL and is a regular speaker at the Metro Infectious Disease weekly educational series. Dr. Pinsky spends the majority of his time in clnical infectious disease, seeing patients. After two decades becoming a seasoned clinician, Dr. Pinsky gained addtional breadth during the COVID-19 public health emergency seeing thousands of COVID related ID consults and speaking at numerous community outreach events.
