Dr. Ila Joshi is the Director of Biology at Partner Therapeutics, Inc., Lexington, MA. She received her Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst then completed her training as an immunologist at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Her research interests include drug mechanism of action and disease biology. She has authored several high-impact immunology and clinical research publications in Nature Immunology, Blood, Genes & Development, Clinical Infectious Disease, Infection & Immunity among others. She has led drug discovery programs to identify and characterize new drug targets in immuno-oncology and devised translational strategies to support clinical development programs across indications. She is currently leading scientific investigations at Partner Therapeutics, Inc. that aim to correlate sargramostim biology with clinical observations. Recently, Dr. Joshi developed a Laboratory Developed Test (LDT) for sepsis biomarkers and is spearheading its clinical use as a point of care diagnostic.
