Pediatrics Infectious Diseases Fellows, PGY-6
UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh
Before coming to Pittsburgh for my Pediatrics Infectious Diseases fellowship, I studied Neurosciences with a secondary in Ethnic Studies at Harvard College, graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) in 2018, and completed my pediatric residency at BCM/Texas Children’s Hospital in 2021. Over the years, it has been a delight to share with other learners the importance of advocacy, the joy of pediatrics, the global aspects of infectious diseases, and the intricacies of caring for immunocompromised hosts (particularly pediatric solid organ transplant recipients). My long-term goals include 1) advancing care of pediatric solid organ transplant (SOT) recipients within a global context, 2) helping to decrease barriers to care for immigrant children needing transplantation, and 3) training the next generation of PID providers.
