Emily Parsons, MD, PhD, is a general pediatrician with a background in research in infectious diseases. She graduated from the Uniformed Services University’s combined MD/PhD program in 2018 with a PhD in Emerging Infectious Disease, and completed a general pediatrics residency at Madigan Army Medical School in 2021. She has a particular interest in the implications of age-dependent changes in T cell immunity. Prior research focused on T cells in malaria vaccines, as well as endemic Burkitt’s lymphoma.
