Dr. Hsueh is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Associate Medical Director of Infection Prevention at Washington University School of Medicine. He is the Medical Director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and an Associate Hospital Epidemiologist at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. His training is in Adult Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine, specializing in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety. His current interests lie in the effective implementation of antimicrobial stewardship and its consequences to the patient, microbiology, and healthcare system. Currently Dr. Hsueh is the Program Director of the LEAP Fellowship, a CDC-funded project aimed at developing the next generation of Infectious Diseases and Public Health leadership.
