Dr. Tyler Pitcock, PharmD is a PGY-2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Resident at University of Kentucky HealthCare Chandler Hospital. Dr. Tyler Pitcock, originally from Glasgow, KY, received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in May, 2022. His practice areas of interest include outpatient antimicrobial therapy, transitions of care, and antimicrobial stewardship. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Pitcock is actively involved with the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy, serving as a preceptor to fourth year pharmacy students on rotations, facilitating small group discussions, and providing lectures. His current research is focused on Vancomycin-induced acute kidney injury using trough versus AUC monitoring. Dr. Tyler Pitcock is currently a member of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) ID PRN organizations.
