Dr. Dan Ilges, PharmD, BCIDP has been an antimicrobial stewardship and infectious diseases clinical pharmacy specialist with Mayo Clinic Arizona since 2021. Dr. Ilges obtained his doctorate of pharmacy from St. Louis College of Pharmacy prior to completing two years of residency training, with a PGY-1 residency at SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital and a PGY-2 infectious diseases residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Dr. Ilges is board certified in infectious diseases pharmacotherapy and has been published in Clinical Infectious Diseases and Open Forum Infectious Diseases. Currently, he serves as the pharmacist lead of the outpatient antimicrobial stewardship program at Mayo Clinic Arizona and as co-chair of the Enterprise Antimicrobial Stewardship Program Education and Communications Subcommittee. His research interests include outpatient antimicrobial stewardship, antimicrobial stewardship metrics, clinical decision support tools, and management of multidrug resistant infections.
