Dr. Shikha Garg is a medical epidemiologist in the Influenza Division at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She received her training in internal medicine at Barnes Jewish Hospital/Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and in adult infectious diseases at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/ Harvard University. She also received a Master in Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health. She first joined CDC as an Epidemic Intelligence Service officer in 2010. Her work currently focuses on surveillance and clinical epidemiology of influenza and other respiratory viruses.
