Dr. Hayato Mitaka, MD, is a fellow in Infectious Diseases in the Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA. Dr. Mitaka graduated from Nagasaki University School of Medicine in Japan, completed his internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and then served as a chief medical resident in his residency program. His current clinical/research interests include antimicrobial stewardship and diagnostic stewardship.
