Brianna Eales is currently a Pharmaceutics Ph.D. candidate within the College of Pharmacy at the University of Houston. She obtained her BSc in biomolecular engineering at Milwaukee School of Engineering. After graduating she entered industry as a laboratory technician within R&D at Rebiotix Inc working on microbiome restoration therapies. During the three years there she was promoted to an associate scientist role prior to pursuing graduate education. As a fourth-year student she is studying antimicrobial resistance within Acinetobacter baumannii with a focus in novel treatments to reinstate susceptibility. Her interests in lab are vast while focusing on personnel training, efficiency, and project management.
