Dr. Teagan King is an Infectious Diseases Fellow with the University of Calgary.
She holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Global Health from Simon Fraser University. She completed her undergraduate training in Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa, her Doctor of Medicine at McMaster University, and her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Calgary.
Prior to medical school, Dr. King worked in the non-profit sector developing standards of excellence for Canadian health care organizations with Accreditation Canada. She has experience in community health and program evaluation in Northern Tanzania. Her research interests include global health, health policy, and the intersection of the social determinants of health with infectious disease outcomes.
