Dr. Pepe is a Medical Director and Associate Hospital Epidemiologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA, and an Infectious Diseases (ID) attending physician in the Division of Infectious Diseases. Prior to her medical training, she obtained her MPH from Columbia University with a focus on environmental health sciences. After internal medicine residency and ID fellowship, she completed the Leaders in Epidemiology, Antimicrobial Stewardship and Public Health (LEAP) fellowship, as part of the inaugural class, funded by CDC, and supported by SHEA, IDSA and PIDS. Dr. Pepe's research interests include healthcare-associated infections, emerging infectious diseases, diagnostic stewardship, environmental sustainability in healthcare, and One Health.
