Clinical Fellow
MD Anderson Cancer Center
I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, and graduated from Luis Razetti Medical School at Universidad Central de Venezuela in 2015. Following this, I relocated to the US and completed my Internal Medicine training at Mount Sinai Medical Center of Miami Beach, FL, in 2018. During this time, my fascination with Infectious Diseases deepened, leading me to pursue specialized training in ID at the immunocompromised track at Baylor College of Medicine and MD Anderson Cancer Center. My primary clinical focus revolves around infections in the immunocompromised host within the oncologic and transplant population, with a specific interest in diseases related to herpesviridae reactivation and their prevention. Additionally, I am interested in antibiotic stewardship, infection control, and the immunopathogenesis of infectious diseases.
