Lindsey Laytner is a NRSA T-32 Postdoctoral Fellow at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Dr. Laytner has a background in Anthropology, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Global One Health and has spent over a decade working on research related to health disparities and infectious diseases in vulnerable communities inside and outside the US. Specializing in mixed methods/qualitative research techniques, Dr. Laytner uses her expertise to explore the factors underlying patient decision-making and health behaviors, such as non-prescription antibiotic use.
Lindsey has put her diverse skillset to good use by focusing on antibiotic stewardship and has been involved in multiple stewardship projects and one intervention during her fellowship. When Lindsey is not working at Baylor College of Medicine, she enjoys fitness, traveling, and exploring the great outdoors with her husband and two Cavapoo dogs.
