Adriana Sarmiento Clemente, MD was born and raised in Venezuela, where she graduated medical school from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas. She completed her pediatric residency at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami and fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases at Baylor College of Medicine/ Texas Children's Hospital at Houston, Texas. She is a clinician educator interested in antimicrobial stewardship and clinical research involving the most common pathogens causing pediatric bacterial infection, including Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pneumoniae.
