Dr. Kari Simonsen is the Carol Remmer Angle Presidential Chair of Pediatrics, Professor of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and Pediatrician in Chief at Children's Nebraska hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. She is a fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society, and a member of the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America and the American Pediatric Society.
