Meera Shah, PharmD, Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice
Dr. Shah is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of the Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy and a clinical pharmacy specialist in Infectious Diseases at Methodist Stone Oak in San Antonio. Dr. Shah attended University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM where she received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2021. She completed both her PGY1 Residency and PGY2 Infectious Diseases Residency at University Health in San Antonio. Dr. Shah’s area of interests include novel antifungals, microbiology, and pharmacoepidemiology, including antimicrobial resistance. Dr. Shah is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), the American Society of Health-System Pharmacy (ASHP), the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP), Phi Lambda Sigma Pharmacy Leadership Society (PLS), and Kappa Psi.
