Dr. Halima Dabaja-Younis MD, MPH has served as a specialist in Pediatric Infectious diseases at Rambam Health Care Campus in Israel for the past 6 years. She obtained her medical degree in 2008 from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and subsequently completed a residency in pediatrics, followed by a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Rambam Health Care Campus, concluding in 2017. Her relentless dedication to epidemiology and public health inspired her to pursue a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a specialized focus on Epidemiology from Haifa University in 2021, further elevating her educational qualifications.
Currently, Dr. Dabaja-Younis is engaged in an Infection Prevention and Control fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Canada, alongside her participation in a leadership program at the University of Toronto. These endeavors are instrumental in strengthening her expertise in infection prevention and control, as well as in public health as a whole.
Dr. Dabaja-Younis's research pursuits are centered around crucial issues in pediatric infectious diseases, epidemiology of infectious diseases, and public health.
