Dr Fatimah Tsiga-Ahmed is an epidemiologist and public health physician with the department of community medicine, Bayero University and Aminu Kano Teaching Hopsital, Kano-Nigeria. Dr. Tsiga-Ahmed completed her MBBS degree at Bayero University, MSc at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and residency training at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano. She is a fellow of the West African College of Physicians and a member of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. Her research interests are in non-communicable diseases, disability prevention and HIV in vulnerable populations. She has research collaborations with colleagues, locally and internationally.
