Shauna H. Gunaratne, MD, MPH, DTM&H is associate program director of the infectious diseases fellowship and assistant professor of medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York, NY. Her clinical interests include management of patients living with HIV/AIDS and opportunistic infections, PrEP, PEP and STI services, general infectious diseases and tropical and travel medicine. She obtained a DTM&H from the Gorgas Course and CTropMed certification from the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and actively sees patients with tropical and travel medicine needs. She is also closely involved in fellow and resident education about HIV, tropical medicine, and general infectious diseases.
