Dr Catherine Dominic (MBBS (Hons) MSc (Dist) FRSPH) is a recent graduate of Barts and the London School of Medicine in the UK, and current academic foundation doctor in East Anglia. She founded and chaired the UK's first national undergraduate immunology and ID conference for medical students, and has served as Executive Director of global health thinktank Polygeia. She has been involved in infectious disease research for the past few years, culminating in more than 20 peer-reviewed publications, and aspires to continue pursuing the integrated academic-clinical training pathway. She will be working on metagenomics as part of her academic foundation block.
