Dr. Kristin Mondy grew up in Austin and is currently Associate Professor and Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Texas Dell Medical School. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where she was primarily a clinical researcher focused on HIV. Upon returning to Austin in 2008, she joined the existing Internal Medicine Residency Program and Austin VA as a clinician educator before assuming her current role with the creation of the Dell Medical School.
