Simon Parzen-Johnson, MD, MSCI is an assistant professor at the University of Chicago with a clinical appointment at Comer Children's Hospital in the section of Pediatric Infectious Diseases. He attended Emory University as an undergraduate and University of Wisconsin-Madison for medical school. He then completed his residency training in General Pediatrics at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and his fellowship training in Pediatric Infectious Disease at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. His research interests are in antimicrobial stewardship and education. He also has a strong interest in clinical care and quality improvement.
