Kelsey Williams, PharmD, currently serves as an Infectious Diseases Clinical Specialist at Baptist Health South Florida in Miami, FL. Dr. Williams earned her Bachelor of Biological Sciences from Florida State University and her Doctor of Pharmacy from Mercer University in Atlanta, GA. She completed a Post-Graduate Year 1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at University of Cincinnati (Cincinnati, OH) and a Post-Graduate Year-2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston, MA). Following completion of PGY-2 training, she earned a certificate from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties for Infectious Diseases (BCIDP). Dr. Williams joined Baptist Hospital of Miami (BHM) in 2020, where she co-leads the Antimicrobial Stewardship (ASP) Collaborative Committee and coordinates ASP initiatives with system-wide committees, physician groups, microbiology lab, and infection control and prevention. As a current clinical instructor for the University of Florida College of Pharmacy and Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy, she precepts pharmacy students in addition to PGY-1 and PGY-2 residents at Baptist Health South Florida. She is also an active member of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP). Her practice interests include antimicrobial resistance, microbiology, and pharmacokinetics.
