Stephen Rawlings, MD, PhD is an Assisstant Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine and Infectious Diseases attending physician at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. He has over 15 years experience in HIV research and clinical care and currently serves as Medical Director of the Gilman Clinic, Maine's oldest and largest clinic for specialty HIV and viral hepatitis care. In recent years, his research interests have expanded to include medical informatics and the use of electronic medial record tools to improve the quality of care delivered to patients with infectious diseases--and make the lives of their physicians a little easier and hopefully a little more hassle-free!
