Nicole Bridges, MA: Supervisor, Research and Development at MiraVista Diagnostics
Nicole (Nickie) Bridges brings 14 years of microbiology experience to her role as MiraVista Diagnostics’ Supervisor in Research and Development. She is responsible for providing technical expertise to research personnel, overseeing administrative function of the department. Additionally, she designs products for laboratory develop test (LDT) and in vitro diagnostics (IVD) in-depth expertise of fungal culture and antigen isolation techniques.
Prior to joining MiraVista Diagnostics in 2018, Ms. Bridges worked as a Microbiologist III at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories. In this role, she developed new assays for detection of expression proteins and optimized ELISA protocols to aid in the development of vaccines for veterinary care.
Ms. Bridges graduated from Ball State University with a Master of Arts in Biology and a Certificate in Biotechnology. She earned her BS in Biology at Indiana University East.
