Nicolas Poux, B.S., is a 4th year student in the Harvard MD/PhD program. As a pediatric leukemia survivor, Nicolas took an early interest in studying and improving patient care. He obtained his undegraduate degree from Stanford in 2020 where he worked in the lab of Irving Weissman developing clonal analysis tools for the study of hematopoiesis. He joined the Harvard MD/PhD program in 2020, where he works with Dr Brian Chan at Brigham and Women's Hospital on topics of antibiotics use guidelines. Additionally, he is pursuing a PhD studying the tumor evolution of diffuse midline gliomas in the laboratory of Dr Pratiti Bandopadhayay. As a Bay-Area native who loves the hills, you may find him frolicking in the White Mountains whenever he escapes from his research.
