Dr. Pawlose Ketema, PharmD, BCPS, BCIDP is an Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist practicing at the Washington DC Veterans Affair Medical Center. After completing his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, he completed his post-graduate training at Howard University College of Pharmacy. He then went on to complete a PGY1 residency at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center and a PGY2 in Infectious Diseases at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Ketema has completed and presented his researches on national and international conferences, including ASHP, ACCP, Vizient, MAD-ID, and IDweek. His current area of interest includes academia and antimicrobial stewardship.
