Josh is a pediatric infectious diseases and clinical informatics physician at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City and serves as the Medical Director for Antimicrobial Stewardship. His training in healthcare and research began at Boston University School of Public Health in 2005 where he studied epidemiology and global health. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Public Health and spent the next few years conducting health services research. He then attended medical school at the University of Kansas and completed general pediatrics residency at Children’s Mercy Hospital. He went on to Boston Children’s Hospital to complete combined fellowships in pediatric infectious diseases and clinical informatics. As part of his informatics training, he also completed a Master’s degree in Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School.
