Senior Scientist
AstraZeneca
Tyler Brady, MPH works as a Senior Scientist in Translational Medicine within the Early Vaccines and Immune Therapies (eV&I) department of AstraZeneca. I provide laboratory support for critical areas of infectious disease research and surveillance, including assay development and qualification. I am involved in Respiratory Syncytial Virus surveillance, where I compile reports on strains identified in international and domestic studies. As part of this ongoing surveillance, I have generated recombinant viruses for susceptibility testing. I also work with external partners to establish critical sample collections across viral and bacterial pathogens to ensure we can generate the necessary data for program advancement. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, I supported high consequence pathogen research in a BSL-4 laboratory as a contractor at the National Institutes of Health. I have contributed to 13 publications.
