Dr. O’Connor, née Rivera, earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The Ohio State University. She then completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at the University of Toledo, followed by a PGY2 Residency in Infectious Diseases at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She currently serves as a clinical pharmacy manager and practices in outpatient Infectious Diseases at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Dr. O’Connor holds academic appointments as Associate Professor of Pharmacy and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine & Science. Her clinical interests include practical optimization of antimicrobial dosing with therapeutic drug monitoring, pharmacotherapy of orthopedic, mycobacterial, and other serious infections.
