Maggie Czarnogorski, MD, MPH is the Head, Innovation and Implementation Science at ViiV Healthcare. In this role, she coordinates and aligns the overarching strategy for Implementation Science across ViiV Healthcare, collaborating closely with other key internal and external stakeholders. Prior to coming to ViiV Healthcare, Dr. Czarnogorski was the Deputy Director, Comprehensive Women’s Health at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Dr. Czarnogorski served as Senior Policy Advisor/Senior Medical Advisor at the Office of National AIDS Policy (ONAP), in the White House under the Obama Administration. Previously, Dr. Czarnogorski held the role as Deputy Director, HIV, Hepatitis, and Public Health Pathogens at VA. Dr. Czarnogorski is a practicing HIV -Infectious Disease physician with a bi-weekly clinic at Washington D.C. VA Medical Center. She received her MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine, and completed her internal medicine residency and infectious diseases fellowship at George Washington University, where she also received a Master’s degree in Public Health.
