Adriana Rauseo earned her MD at Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas Venezuela and did her internal medicine training at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She then completed her infectious diseases fellowship at Washington University in St Louis. She stayed on as faculty and is currently an Assistant Professor at WashU. She specializes in clinical infectious diseases, with a special focus on mycology and infections that affect immunocompromised hosts. She is also the Co-Director of the Invasive Myscoses Clinic and serves as an investigator in the Infectious Disease Clinical Research Unit in multiple clinical trials and translational research studying COVID-19, invasive fungal infections, HIV.
