Dr. Radhika S. Polisetty Pharm.D., FIDSA, BCIDP, BCPS, AAHIVP is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Midwestern University Chicago College of Pharmacy and Clinical Specialist, Infectious Diseases at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield IL. Dr. Polisetty’s primary area of focus is managing an Antibiotic Stewardship Program at her practice site. She works closely with the Northwestern Medicine Antimicrobial and Diagnostic Stewardship Program, in the development of guidelines and protocols to promote appropriate prescribing of antimicrobials at her hospital as well as across the health-system. Dr. Polisetty teaches infectious diseases pharmacotherapy at the college and is also involved in precepting pharmacy students as well as residents at her site. Dr. Polisetty has been an active member of several local, state and national organizations such as the IDSA, ACCP Infectious Diseases PRN, ACCP HIV PRN, Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists, and Board of Pharmacy Specialties Infectious Diseases Council, for the last several years. She is currently the chair of the ACCP ID PRN Social Media Committee, and the ACCP Health Equity PRN program committee and the current Secretary for Northern Illinois Society of Health-System Pharmacist (NISHP). She is passionate about promoting infectious diseases research and antimicrobial stewardship as a clinician as well as an educator.
