Holly Shoemaker, MPH, is a Graduate Research Assistant and Ph.D. candidate in the University of Utah's Population Health Sciences program. She graduated Magna cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry degree from Northern Michigan University in 2014. In 2018, she graduated with a Masters in Public Health from Westminster College and received the Outstanding Student award. She was accepted to the Population Health Sciences Ph.D. program in 2018 with a focus in Clinical and Translational Epidemiology. Her research is focused on infectious disease spread, prevention, and modeling, particularly in healthcare settings.
