Johanna Gleason-Vergados, MD, is a first year resident physician in the Yale Internal Medicine Primary Care program and is a member of the HIV Training Track. She is a recent graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Her interests include clinical infectious diseases, HIV medicine, public health, and epidemiology. Her research with the Yale Emerging Infections Program involves analyzing epidemiological surveillance data of fungal blood stream infections. Dr. Gleason-Vergados is also passionate about population health and has completed several quality imporvement projects to address disparities within the healthcare system.
