Senior Director
Pfizer
Kimberly Center is Senior Director, Vaccines Clinical Research and Development at Pfizer. During her Pfizer career, it has been her great fortune to be involved in the development of pneumococcal conjugate vaccines for infants and children, and of Group B streptococcus and RSV vaccines for maternal immunization to help prevent disease in infants. She joined Pfizer (then Wyeth) shortly after completing both her pediatric residency and infectious diseases fellowship at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. Prior to her clinical training, Dr. Center graduated from Brandeis University with a BA cum laude in Music, after which she returned to the Philadelphia area to complete a post-baccalaureate premedical program at Bryn Mawr College before earning her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania (now Drexel University College of Medicine).
