Kalen Hall is a 4th year PhD candidate in the Biomedical Sciences program at Tulane University School of Medicine. Her dissertation research focuses on the genetic mechanisms driving multidrug resistance acquisition, specifically in the context of Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections of people with cystic fibrosis. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Florida with her BS in Biochemistry and BA in Anthropology in 2019, and worked for a year postbaccalaureate researching DNA repair mechanisms before starting her doctoral studies.
