Dr. Peyrani received her M.D. from the University of Buenos Aires, School of Medical Science where she completed a residency in Pediatrics. She moved to the US in 2003 where she started working as a clinical researcher in the Division of Infectious Diseases. She then completed a fellowship in Infectious Diseases from the University of Louisville where she remained as an academic and attending physician until joining Pfizer in 2018. In that role she was the Director of Clinical Research responsible for company, investigator-initiated, and federally funded research within the Division of Infectious Diseases. She has published over 90 articles and worked on important projects in the area of pneumonia, HIV and Group B Strep Infections.
She joined Pfizer in 2018, first working with the Vaccine Research and Development where she worked as the medical monitor of clinical trials among different vaccines. In 2020, she took the role of global medical affairs lead for the Pentavalent Meningococcal Vaccine and more recntly. she became the medical affaors lead for all meningoccocal vaccines.
