Clinical Professor and Associate Dean for Pharmacy

Dr. Davis is a Clinical Professor and Interim Associate Dean for Pharmacy at Wayne State University with a clinical appointment at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy, completed her residency training at Detroit Receiving Hospital, and a fellowship in Infectious Diseases Pharmacotherapy at Wayne State University. She has published over 90 peer-reviewed manuscripts in the field of antimicrobial pharmacotherapy and is the program director for the Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Fellowship in antimicrobial stewardship at Wayne State University and Henry Ford Hospital.
Dr. Davis is the current President of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists, and is active in other professional associations including ASHP, ACCP, SHEA, and MAD-ID. Dr. Davis’ awards for practice, teaching and research include the ASHP New Preceptor of the Year, SIDP Clinician of the Year, and the Wayne State University CPHS Research Excellence Award and Board of Governors Award. Notably, in 2020-21 she served on the NIH COVID-19 Treatment Guidelines Panel. When not attending meetings, Dr. Davis enjoys training pharmacy fellows, residents and students in antimicrobial stewardship practice and research.
