Eric Hadhazy, MS, CPPS, is currently a Principal Consultant in the Quality & Patient Safety Department at Stanford Health Care. Previously, Eric was the Director of Critical Care Quality and the Administrative Director of Quality Analytics & Reporting at Stanford and headed a team focused on improving clinical outcomes for patients. During the pandemic Eric decided to return to school and is currently finishing his second year of medical school. He continues to support quality initiatives in the Intensive Care Units (ICUs) at Stanford and is largely focused on reducing hospital acquired infections (HAIs). Eric is part of several HAI-specific task forces which are charged with leading the work to identify and address opportunities to decease HAIs across the hospital.
