Short biography: Ms. Yergalieva Ademi graduated from Asfendiyarov Kazakhstan National Medical University. After that, she began working at the Scientific and Practical Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Expertise and Monitoring of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan as an epidemiologist of the Department of Disinfection and Infection Control. In 2021, she joined the Advanced Training program in Field Epidemiology in Central Asia, based in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and received a Master's degree in Applied Epidemiology. As a resident of FETP, she assisted in the investigation of several outbreaks, including HAI in the largest hospital in Almaty, conducted research in the field of antibiotic resistance, investigation of measles outbreaks, a one-time HAI study in hospitals throughout Kazakhstan.
