I'm Sahithi Rao Mallyala, originally from Hyderabad, India. My journey in medicine began in this vibrant city, fueled by a deep desire to impact lives positively.
I earned my Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences in September 2021. As the Valedictorian of my class, I embraced the value of dedication and hard work.
Leadership is central to who I am. For 5.5 years, I represented my peers as a class representative and led as the President of the Student Activities Council - named the EXPRESS COMMITTEE , organizing workshops and fostering unity.
Beyond academics, I've taken my knowledge to rural health centers, promoting health awareness. My pursuits extend to music – I'm a certified Carnatic music violinist, blending science with artistry.
Learning is ongoing. Certifications in Basic Life Support, HIPAA, and Infectious Disease Control underline my commitment to ethical patient care.
In clinical observerships at esteemed institutions like Beaumont Hospital, Dearborn, Brooklyn Hospital Centre, and HCA Northwest Hospital, I've honed skills from EMR charting to primary and urgent care, telehealth for 4 months - april'23-july'23.
My service includes freelance and teleconsultations, offering diagnoses and support, including during the COVID-19 pandemic.
During my internship at Bhaskar General Hospital (2019-2021), I gained insights into various specialties, fostering a holistic approach to patient care.
Rooted in my origins, shaped by experiences, I'm dedicated to Internal medicine. With an open heart and unyielding dedication to learning, I'm excited to forge ahead, embracing each challenge as an opportunity to grow. Together, let's create a future where healthcare embodies compassion.
