Bismarck Bisono Garcia, MD
Born and raised in Dominican Republic, attended Medical School at Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in Santiago, Dominican Republic graduated in 2015. Completed Internship in Dominican Republic in June 2016 and afterwards joined Infectious Diseases department as House Staff in Hospital General de la Plaza de la Salud. In May 2017 joined the Teacher's assistants team at Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra where stayed until moved to New York City in June 2019 to start Medicine Residency in St Barnabas Hospital. Completed Residency in June 2022 and moved to Rochester, Minnesota to join Infectious Diseases Fellowship program at Mayo Clinic. Interest includes Transplant and Immunocompromised Infectious Diseases, HIV care, LGBTQIA+ care, Diversity and Inclusion in medicine and addordable healthcare advocacy.
