I have been a part of The Garey Lab (Kevin Garey) since 2016. My research involve in many different projects that include molecular microbiology (PCR Ribotyping, MLVA, MIC, molecular cloning, gene expression and knock out etc.), bacterial defense mechanism (CRISPR Cas system in bacteria), whole genome sequencing, meta-genomics, molecular surveillance of emerging and re-emerging pathogens: CD (Clostridium difficile), CRE (Carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae), VRE (Vancomycin-resistant Enterococci), MDRO (Multi Drug Resistant Organisms). My research interests include Infectious diseases, Molecular biology, Drug research, Genome editing, Gene therapy, CRISPR Cas system.
I have earned my PhD in Biopharmaceutical Sciences from Okayama University, Okayama, Japan.
