Kathryn Weakley, MD, MSc is an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the University of Louisville, affiliated with Norton Children's Hospital. Dr. Weakley completed her undergraduate, medical, residency, and fellowship training at the University of Louisville, as well as a Master's degree in Clinical Investigative Sciences.
Dr. Weakley's academic and research interests include asplenia, immunocompromised hosts, unexplained fevers, post-COVID syndrome, and congenital CMV.
Dr. Weakley is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society. She serves on the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society's Transplant ID Committee and Transplant ID Education Subcommittee.
