Chaorui Cherie Huang, MD, PhD, MS, is Research Scientist at Division of Disease Control, New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH). She received bachelor’s degree of Medicine (equivalent to M.D.) from Peking University and joined the Ph.D. program for clinical research at Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden. She later pursued an additional M.S. degree in Biostatistics in Columbia University, which program was designed for physicians interested in clinical research and received the degree in 2015. Her current job responsibility is related to research in infectious disease and public health, outbreak response, as well as support medical service.
